PE Exemption
All Chamblee students are required to earn two units in PE to graduate. The first unit must be completed by taking PE in 9th grade. Students who participate in tennis at Chamblee High School are eligible to earn exemption credit toward the second unit of PE. Players who log a total of 65 hours during one season of tennis (including team practices and matches) will receive 0.5 credit toward the second unit of PE. The remaining 0.5 credit can be earned during the following year's tennis season, once an additional 65 hours are logged. In addition to 9th grade PE, players must log a total of 130 hours of practice and match time over two tennis seasons to meet the PE requirement for graduation.

Log hours for practices and matches using this verification log. Once the verification log is complete at the end of the season, submit the form to Coach Magee, who will sign it and submit it to the CHS Data Clerk. Once the Data Clerk has processed the exemption, any credit earned toward the second PE unit will be reflected in Infinite Campus.
